Practice Partners started as a tool we built for ourselves. We made it a product because we kept being asked for it.
Who we are and what we actually do
Practice Partners is an automation engineering company based in Oradea, in north-western Romania. We build and operate algorithmic trading infrastructure for independent retail traders and small funds operating within the EU. Our platform covers the full automation lifecycle: you bring a validated strategy, and we handle everything from rule mapping and broker API integration to live order execution and server-side risk monitoring. We do not manage capital, we do not recommend assets, and we do not operate on anyone's account without their explicit instruction. Our job is to make your strategy run exactly as you designed it — faster and more consistently than manual execution allows. The team of seven people in Oradea has been running this infrastructure since 2019, initially for a small group of Romanian FX traders who needed reliable execution during the London session without being physically present at their screens.
How we work and what we hold ourselves to
Our onboarding process is deliberately structured. Before any strategy goes live, it runs in our staging environment against recent tick data — we do not skip this step for any client, regardless of how experienced they are. We have seen too many strategies that look solid on a chart but break on real fill simulation to treat this as optional. We work primarily with traders running systematic or semi-systematic approaches on FX, indices, and commodities through regulated EU brokers. The platform currently supports 11 broker integrations, and we add new connectors based on client demand — typically within four to six weeks of a formal request, provided the broker exposes a documented API. We are transparent about what our infrastructure cannot protect against: broker outages, extreme gap events, and strategies that were never validated on realistic data. We put these limits in writing, in the client agreement and in our public documentation, because we believe automation without honesty about its edges is a liability, not a service.
What I value about Practice Partners is that they told me upfront what the platform would not do. Most vendors pitch around the gaps; these people put the limitations in a written document before I signed anything. That transparency made the decision straightforward.
